We’re excited to announce that we are taking this fall to improve and reorganize our space, leadership, and curriculum. We will be launching our new Pre-K Playgroup and Homeschool Group classes after the new year…stay posted, and come visit!

The California Native Garden Foundation envisions a world where children have access to nature, people grow their own food locally, and there is a reciprocal balance between human activity and natural ecology. Towards this aim, CNGF hosts youth programs called Earth Heroes in our outdoor classroom, ELSEE (Environmental Laboratory for Sustainability and Ecological Education).
Your child can become an Earth Hero at our three programs for children: Pre-K Playgroup, Homeschool, and Summer Nature Camp. With a group of friends, amazing teachers, and special guests, Earth Heroes learn together about native plants and animals through play, stories, songs, cooking, art, science, and, of course, gardening! As your Earth Hero learns how to be a steward of our local ecology, they will gain confidence, feel empowered, and contribute to our thriving ecosystem.
