  • New badges: Beekeeping and cooking with biogas!
  • Creating your own farmer’s market
  • Setting up a vermicomposting system
  • A special junior camp counselor program for 13 and 14 year-olds who register early. Participants will get to assist at camp and have their own special projects to complete with guidance from college interns who will be their counselors this summer. This could be a research project, a community outreach idea, the particular study of a plant or animal, or learning to be a regenerative farmer. The possibilities are endless!

Your child will:

  • Visit Hester Farms
  • Learn from special guests, like beekeepers and storytelling from indigenous California leaders
  • Explore along the nearby Guadalupe River as part of our Grow Ancestral Plants badge

…and so much more!
